James Jarmond and his wife, Rachel are an integral part of the R2C family. James and Rachel were a team, through thick and thin! They were not only successful program participants, but committed volunteers for our program and community outreach efforts. With one phone call, James was willing to use their truck to pick up supplies, or come to the center to sort or pack bags. One year we were blessed to have James (DJ Gunz) as our DJ for the superheroes at the Back-2-School Blowout! He was one of the most optimistic dreamers that I’ve ever met. His deep faith in God and his love for his family always guided him towards the positive side of any situation and he would selflessly lend his help and talents in any way he could.
Rachel now needs our help in helping to give James the sendoff he deserves. Both James and Rachel were laid off due to COVID-19. She needs an additional $700 by noon tomorrow to pay for funeral arrangements. Any additional funds will help her and the kids with basic necessities until her return to work. As a community, let’s come together and help one of our sister’s in need. Thank you and God bless!
